Family Game Night S’mores Challenge
We created a fun new family game night challenge that’s perfect for the summer! This is super-fun to play with family, friends, or any group of people around a campfire. Grab your people, your treats, and have a few laughs! This is definitely a game that will make you belly laugh when you see what “s’mores” you create (and have to take a bite of!)
How to play:
Grab your staple s’mores ingredients and then grab substitutions for each. Here are some ideas, but feel free to get creative with this! The more creative you get, the more fun it makes the game!
Graham Cracker Substitutions:
- Any chip flavor (the sturdier the better)
- Saltine crackers
- Pop tarts
- Ritz crackers
- Tortillas
- Chocolate chip cookies
- Rice cakes
Marshmallow Substitutions:
- Queso fresco
- Mushrooms
- Banana
- Brie
- Cream cheese
- Pickles
Chocolate Substitutions:
- Cheese slices
- E-Z Cheese
- Black licorice
- Reeses peanut butter cup
- Cookie butter spread
- Cheeto’s
Make Your S'more
When it’s your turn, close your eyes/wear a blindfold, or just be honest and don’t peek. Have someone stand behind you, holding one traditional s’more ingredient and one funky substitution. Point to your left or right to choose an ingredient! Keep going until you have chosen three ingredients that consist of your very special chaotic s’more.
One note: the person offering the blind ingredients should make sure that at least one of the offered ingredients is “sticky” to hold the concoction together.
Now roast it up and enjoy your new s’more…. or not!
It’s so fun to see what the person in the hot seat will have to eat, and it’s even funnier watching their reaction to taking a bite of the surprise! Unless they get lucky and actually get to enjoy the treat! This game always makes us laugh, and we have a blast playing together.
